Houston Social Media Breakfast
As social media tools and techniques have become more a part of the overall communication and outreach mix for companies, many are struggling with how to staff for it. While some companies are hiring social media specialists, others are adding the function to existing staff. Moreover, they still have to prove its worth... to their boss while making an impact with their social media outreach.
See how three successful organizations have handled this new frontier and its increased workload. Hear from Jennifer Texada, MD Anderson; Fran Stephenson, Rackspace; and Kelly Russo, The Houston Zoo, about how they are facing this challenge. They will answer these questions and more:
• How do you determine your social media strategy?
• How did you get buy-in from your boss?
• How do you measure success?
• Are you using outside consultants or doing it yourself?
• What do you see is the future of social media in your organization?
• Who will be responsible for it?

Houston Social Media Breakfast Tweet Talk: Shel Israel is coming to town next week (Tuesday Happy Hour and then Wednesday AAF luncheon). It will be the inagural event of the Social Media Club of Houston. Houston Social Media Breakfast is also sponosring this event.
